Training to become a driving instructor can be expensive – especially if you have to pay for everything upfront.
But we don’t believe in upfront charges. Our pupils prefer to take things in stages. They pay for instructor tuition in small, 10-hour blocks or even hour-by-hour.
You can cut your costs even further by going for your pink trainee licence after passing Part 2. Once you’ve got that, you may well be able to use the income you earn as a trainee instructor to fund your way through Part 3.
▪ Introductory hour-long aptitude test: FREE
▪ Block rate for 10 hours: £250
▪ Pay-as-you-go hourly rate: £30
▪ Part 1: FREE – study at home using recommended resources
▪ Part 2 minimum total cost: 12 hours for £300 (Note: some pupils may need more than 12 hours tuition)
▪ Part 3 minimum total cost: 40 hours for £1,000 (Note: some pupils may need more than 40 hours tuition)
▪ Pink trainee licence additional tuition: 20 hours for £500
All tuition is provided one-to-one in the car – this is high-intensity tuition for driving instructors who want to succeed.
Our instructors will guide you through Parts 2 and 3 according to your skills and your needs. All tuition is one-to-one in the car. There are no wasteful classroom sessions with a group of other trainee instructors. Because you have our undivided attention, our practical, high-intensity sessions are much more effective. It’s the ideal way to learn if you’re in a hurry to qualify.
